In 2017, after writing, directing, and producing an award-winning short film, Waiting Room (streaming on Amazon), and comedy web series, All That Shabaz (streaming on SparkkTV), I escaped the law (firm) and leaped into the world of freelance film/tv crew. After raising two amazing sons (and with their blessings), my husband and I moved cross-country from Atlanta to LA to pursue my dream of writing and directing for tv. Soon after, I landed a gig as Producer’s Assistant for Bullet Train, then earned a gig as Assistant to Michael Uppendahl, Producing Director for Candy. Born in Queens and raised between Queens and Dallas, TX (with stops in Austin and Atlanta), I’m a cultural shapeshifting writer and director, earning me placements in writing competitions (see below) and as an inaugural fellow in Circle of Confusion’s Writers Discovery Program in 2021. I currently work as a Showrunner's Assistant for an acclaimed Hulu series. After graduating from the WGF Writers Access Support Staff Training Program, I earned a Script Coordinator job for an Amazon series. When I'm not working or binging shows, I'm in tap dance class trying to keep up with 10-year-olds or driving around the vast LA metroplex with my hubby trying to find the best wings.
